Use by users (‘you’/’your’) of https://cb1community.org.uk (‘the Site’) constitutes acceptance by you of the following terms of use. YOUR USE OF THIS SITE WILL BE GOVERNED BY THESE TERMS. PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE SITE.
If you do not agree to all of these terms of use and our Privacy Policy (‘terms’), you may not use the Site which is owned by CB1 Estate Management Company and operated by Bidwells (‘us’/’our’/’we’). These terms relate to your use of the Site.

The names, images and logos identifying CB1 Community and its products and services are subject to copyright, design rights and trade marks of the CB1 Estate Management Company. Nothing contained in these terms shall be construed as conferring by implication, estoppel or otherwise any licence or right to use any trademark, patent, design right or copyright of CB1 Estate Management Company.
The information and materials (‘Content’) appearing on the Site are displayed for personal, non-commercial use only. All software used on the Site and all Content included on the Site (including without limitation site design, text, graphics, audio and video, the selection and arrangement thereof and the underlying source code) is the property of CB1 Estate Management Company or that of its suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
None of the Content may be downloaded, copied, reproduced, republished, posted, transmitted, stored, sold or distributed without the prior written permission of the copyright holder. This excludes the downloading of one copy of extracts from the Site on any single computer for personal, non-commercial home use only, provided that all copyright and proprietary notices are kept intact.

Liability disclaimer
While we endeavour to ensure that the information on the site is correct and truthful, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we provide you with the site on an ‘as is’ basis only. Severability and waiver

No waiver of any of these terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.
User information
We may collect information on what pages are accessed or visited by you and information volunteered by you, such as your contact details, survey information and/or any site registrations. We use this information for internal review and in order to improve the Content of the Site. Further, without prejudice to the above, we shall at all times process your information obtained via your access and use of the Site and/or otherwise in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We, Bidwells LLP, operate this website on behalf of CB1 Estate Management Company, and are committed to protecting your privacy and security. Whenever you provide personal information, we will treat that information in accordance with current UK Data Protection legislation and the EU General Data Protection Regulation which applies from 25th May 2018. We are registered with the Information Commissioners Office for Data Protection – Registration no: Z6940122.
Purposes for which we collect your data
The personal data that we collect will be used for the following purposes:
- To send you our e-bulletin, if you have signed up to receive it.
- To provide you with any other important news and updates that we feel you would wish to know.
- Recording instances of anti-social behaviour. Through the form on the website, reports of anti-social behaviour will be sent directly to the agencies that users identify. The data will also be retained on the website server. This is so there is statistical data on the number of instances being reported. This statistical data can then be referenced at meetings and on the CB1 Community website. Please note: the statistical data will be anonymised so any names and contact details are not shown.
- To enable our Marketing Department to understand our residents and audience better. They may contact you by post, email or telephone to ask you for feedback and comments, or perhaps complete a survey.
We may also provide your information to carefully selected third parties whose products or services we believe may be of interest to you. You may be contacted by them directly. If you do not wish us to disclose this information, please contact us.
How we protect your information
Bidwells takes the security and privacy of those of its clients and contacts about whom it holds personal information extremely seriously. We follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of personal information given to us in order to prevent unauthorised access. Your data will be held in a secure environment on our website’s server and on that of our chosen Campaign Management Tool, MailChimp. Where data is submitted in the anti-social behaviour reporting form, this is shared according to your preferences (by ticking or not ticking the boxes to share the report and share contact details). If the data is shared with another organisation, we will ensure that their privacy policy conforms with our standards and relevant legislation.
Our legal basis for processing your data
Article 6 of the GDPR gives 6 conditions under which processing of data shall be lawful. Our legal basis is contained within clauses 1(a) and 1(c), namely that you have given consent and we are under a legal obligation to comply. You can view the full legal bases by viewing Article 6 in the GDPR
Your rights
By providing your data you are consenting to us using it and storing it until you tell us otherwise. Your right to withdraw consent is contained in Article 7 of the GDPR. You can withdraw consent by unsubscribing from any email we send you, or you can complete our contact form asking us to delete your data or by emailing us via info@cb1community.org.uk (please ask for a ‘Read receipt’). Your full rights are explained in Chapter III of the GDPR (Articles 12 to 23).
Cookies
We, Bidwells LLP, operate this website on behalf of CB1 Estate Management Company, and may collect information about your computer including, where available, your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.
For the same reason, we may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. They help us to improve our site and to deliver a better and more personalised service.
They enable us:
- To estimate our audience size and usage pattern; to store information about your preferences, and so allow us to customise our site according to your individual interests; to speed up your searches; and to recognise you when you return to our site.
- You may refuse to accept cookies by activating the setting on your browser which allows you to refuse the setting of cookies.
