Installation of Pedestrian Crossings

Plans for the pedestrian crossing on Great Northern Road have been approved and the location moved closer to the desire line at  the junction with Tension Road. Installation will commence soon.

A further pedestrian crossing at the top of Great Northern Road near Sainsbury’s awaits the planned constructions in the station car park.

There are plans for a zebra crossing to be installed at Station Road, provided by Weston Homes.

The proposals are to install a zebra crossing on Station Road approximately 28 metres east south east of its junction with Tenison Road. This is intended to provide a safe crossing place for pedestrians on Station Road.
